(i) Tools and services that provide you with basic game statistics and information that could be useful to beginners, such as an odds calculator.
(ii) Tools and services that provide basic-level advice about the game, such as a single table-based starting hand chart.
(iii) Tools that improve your experience without influencing the game itself or providing any advice (for example enhanced display, keyboard shortcuts and improved visibility), but you cannot use these tools or utilities to create an autofolder that folds poor starting hands, or that automates advice or actions from any other tool or service.

(iv) Tracking tools that create records of your play and display in-game playing statistics  (i.e through a HUD), but make use only of information that you have accumulated through your own play. This includes popular tracking software such as Hand2Note, PokerTracker and Hold’em Manager. Building hand databases by using third party data mining services or sharing of hand histories is strictly prohibited.

Collusion will not be tolerated at BetOnline.ag. Any player who gains, or attempt to gain an advantage, by colluding, or by any other methods, will face a permanent ban from BetOnline.ag. If we determine that such activity is occurring, or there is an attempt at such activity, regardless of the outcome of such attempt, the accounts involved – at our sole discretion – will be permanently closed and all account balances (including both deposits and any winnings) shall be forfeited.

Collusion includes, without limitation: sharing information about their cards, chip dumping, discussing a hand during play, multiple players using a single account, use of a proxy, soft playing, chip transferring, squeezing, stack balancing and advising/agreeing to take specific actions with other players.

We employ various strategies and procedures, both manual and automated, to rigorously exam and detect such behavior. Constant monitoring takes place to limit the behavior. In addition to this, we thoroughly investigate all player complaints to rule out any form of cheating or collusion.

If you suspect that other players may be colluding, you should contact us. Due to data protection requirements, we will not be able to provide you with details of any investigations conducted or any subsequent outcome of players suspected of collusion, cheating or any other form of fraud.

Disconnection Policy

While each user is responsible for his or her own Internet connection, all players must accept the risk of disconnection. Disconnections can, and do, occur. If you are disconnected, and therefore unable to act on your hand, while having chips invested in the pot in a ring game, you will be given 30 additional seconds to reconnect. If you successfully reconnect within this timeframe, the table you were playing in will reappear automatically (if it isn’t already open). However, if you do not reconnect during this time, in the event that you have not made a bet when it is your turn to make one, our system will automatically “check” you; or (ii) if another player has placed a bet and you are required to make a “call”, your hand will “fold”, regardless of your investment in the pot or the strength of your hand.

We will not accept any responsibility for losses caused by disconnections.

In the event of a Server Crash

Users are required to email our Player Services Team, and are responsible to provide the necessary information. Information such as; Player account number, tournament name, SnG name and number, buy in amount and timeframe. The relevant team to review tournaments and hands played, review prior and during a server crash will be conducted to determine whether or not a refund will be issued. Only eligible claims will be refunded. Valid claims will be refunded in form of cash for all rebuys and add on and tournament ticket will be issued for buy in.

Grimming

The abuse of sitting and playing one hand at a new heads-up cash table and having received favorable blinds/button position, then immediately leaving the table after that single hand, will not be tolerated. BetOnline.ag reserves the right, in addition to other measures, to block access to games to such players’ account for a period of time or terminating such players’ account, at its sole discretion.

Rake

No rake is taken before the flop in Hold’em and Omaha and no rake will be taken from uncalled pots.

Rake is only taken from money that has been matched by at least one player in the pot i.e. if one player raises $60 and another makes an all-in call with $20, rake will only be taken from the $40 that is matched by both players.

The “Rake” is the percentage of the pot that goes to the house. BetOnline.ag uses a fixed schedule for its rake, based on the table limit and number of seats.

If everyone folds to a single raise pre-flop, no rake is collected. All pots that see a flop are raked.

Multi-Table Tournaments

Multi-Table tournaments are tournaments with more than 10 players and multiple tables running concurrently. Tables merge as more players are eliminated. This continues to happen until only 1 table remains, and ultimately finishes when 1 player holds all of the chips.

Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold’em Multi-Table tournaments. When one player has all of the chips, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.

Rules

  • Any player is eligible to enter into a Multi-Table tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
  • All Multi-Table tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
  • The button determines which players begin posting blinds in the tournament.
  • BetOnline.ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
  • There will be 5-minute breaks every hour, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
  • When a player loses all their chips, they are out of the tournament and finish in the order in which they were eliminated. Example: In a 210-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you rank at 208th place in the tournament.
  • If more than one player is eliminated in a hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes with a higher ranking. In the case where both players also have the same amount of chips before the hand, both players will tie for the position. If there is a tie between two or more players, the prizes they qualify for are split evenly between all tied players. For example, if two players tie for 2nd place, each player receives 50% of the second place prize and 50% of the third place prize.
  • Deal Making – This includes, staking, swaps, profit-sharing, or any kind of bankroll sharing agreement with another player during tournaments and/or SNGs. Players caught deal making will have the tournament/SNG winnings removed and their buy-in/rebuy/add-ons will NOT be refunded, and the guilty players will have their accounts suspended and/or permanently closed. These rules only apply if the tournament/SNG does NOT offer deal making. Poker tournaments continue until there is one declared winner and the payoffs will be exactly according to the prize payout structure.
  • All players will play with all their chips until either they lose all their chips or win the tournament. However, please note that we allow players to re-buy when they go out of the tourney as long as the tourney has a re-buy structure.
  • During play in any of the poker tournaments, if a player loses their connection and does not re-connect or does not act, their hands are automatically folded and their blinds are posted automatically when it is their turn until they return. Eventually the player is “blinded out” if they do not re-connect back to the poker tournaments table.
  • Players must understand and accept the risk of internet disconnections, as they can and do occur. If a player is not connected before a hand starts, they will be dealt cards and then folded automatically. If they are required to post a blind and are not connected, blinds will continue to be posted on their behalf and their hand folded. Again, this continues until the player is fully connected and back in the poker tournaments or until the player is out of the tournament.
  • In case of a server problem, all poker tournaments in play during the problem are deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund the full Buy-In or the last rebuy of each poker player that was still in the tournament at the time. To receive a refund of your Buy- in, please contact our Player Services Team with your account number and the tournament number. Players still in the tournament at the time of disconnection will be eligible for a portion of the prize pool. This payout is based on the player’s proportion of chips compared to all other remaining players. This resolution treats all players fairly. If a player was eliminated from any of the poker tournaments before the server problem, they are considered “out of the tournament” and do not receive an entry fee refund or any portion of the prize pool.

In case of disputes, BetOnline.ag’s management decision will be final.

Sit N Go Tournaments

A Sit n Go tournament is one with 2-18 players that starts immediately after the required number of players for that particular tournament is satisfied.

Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold’em Sit n Go tournaments. Play continues until one player has all of the chips. When this occurs, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.

Rules

  • Any player is eligible to enter into a Sit n Go tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
  • All Sit n Go tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
  • All Sit n Go tables will begin 30 seconds after the final person has registered.
  • The button determines which players begin posting blinds in the tournament.
  • ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
  • There will be no breaks, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
  • When a player loses all their chips they are out of the tournament and finish in the order they were eliminated. Example: In a 10-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you are declared as finishing in 8th place.
  • If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes higher.

Tournament Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a tournament should be cancelled, our main priority is to compensate players in the fairest and most equitable way possible. Depending on the state that the tournament was cancelled and the timing of the cancellation, one of the following methods, based on our sole discretion, will be applied.

There are 3 refund policies based on when the TOURNAMENT is cancelled:

  1. Tournament is cancelled before start
    • All players get back their contributions and fee paid at registration, the means being returned in the form they have been paid (cash for cash, TM for TM, ticket for ticket, CP for CP).
    • In GTD-tournaments, the amount of guaranteed prize is returned to the House.
    • In Knockout tournaments, knockout fee is returned to players.
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is returned to players.
  2. Tournament is cancelled after start (No Players have received prizes yet)
    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
    • The remaining players get back their fees.
    • The remaining and eliminated players’ contributions are allocated as follows:
-50% of contributions are divided equally among the remaining players
-50% of contributions are divided among the remaining players proportionally to the number of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is canceled.
    • In Satellite tournaments, the remaining players get their fees back, and the contributions are divided as mentioned above. Tickets are not awarded.
    • In GTD-tournaments, the guaranteed prize amount is returned to the House, contributions are allocated among players as mentioned above.
    • In Knockout tournaments, the remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration.
    • In Time-limited tournaments with “Tickets for surviving” Payout table:
-The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
-The remaining players get back their fees.
-The remaining players get back their contributions.
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.
  3. Tournament is canceled after start (Players have received prizes)
    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
    • The remaining players get back their fees.
    • The remaining players are awarded equally with the last unpaid prize and if there are still remaining funds in the prize pool, the players will receive funds proportional to the number of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is canceled.
Example: if the tournament paid out 50 players, however, there are only 42 players left, each player receives an equal portion that place 42 would have paid out.
    • In GTD-tournaments, the minimum prizes are paid from player contributions (just like in non GTD-tournaments, see point 3).
    • If the amount of player contributions is not enough to pay minimum prizes (see point 3), the House provides the insufficient amount from the guaranteed prize pool. The remaining funds from the guaranteed prize pool is returned to the House.
    • In Knockout tournaments, the remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration and contributions will be distributed (see point 3).
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Players will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.

Individual Disconnection:

When an individual player experiences a disconnection (as a result of the poker room experiencing technical issues) which results in them being knocked out of a tournament/SNG, the player will be refunded a ticket to that tournament/SNG, which may be used whenever the player wishes to do so. However, if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund. If the player was eliminated prior to the disconnection, they will not receive a refund.

Paused Tournaments

If a tournament needs to be paused, either due to maintenance or technical issues, a message will be sent to all players in the tournament informing them that the tournament will be paused and when the tournament will start up again. 15 minutes prior to the tournament resuming, in-client messages will be sent out every 5 minutes informing players when the tournament will resume play.

In the unlikely case that the time provided to players prior to the tournament being paused has passed and players still can’t login, in client messages will be sent out informing players of the new starting time of the tournament. If the player was not successful in completing the tournament, they will need to contact customer support in order to receive a refund in the form of a ticket to the same tournament. However, if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund.

Restrictions to Poker Transfers & Sports Free Plays

If you have an active Sports Free Play bonus and/or Bonus Rollover requirement, you will be unable to transfer funds to Poker until the bonus has been used and the bonus rollover requirement is complete.

  • Sports Free Play: Bonus funds earned by using a code when making a deposit to be used in sports bets, separate from your cash balance.
  • Poker: Our poker platform.

Examples:

  • If you receive a $10 Sports Free Play with a 10x bonus rollover requirement, you must wager $100 before you can transfer your balance to Poker.
