Golf Rules

Futures Tee Off Requirement

  • Player must tee off for bets to count.

  • If a golfer does not play (no tee off), bets are No Action and stakes refunded (unless stated otherwise).

  • A golfer is considered to have played once they tee off.

Player Withdrawal

  • If a player withdraws after teeing off, bets on that player lose.

  • Future bets on the tournament winner pay out to the player who wins the trophy, including playoffs.

Tournament Shortening

  • If the tournament is shortened by PGA officials, the official winner is used for settling bets.

  • If fewer than 36 holes are played, all bets are No Action and stakes refunded.

Playoffs and Ties

  • If two or more players tie at the end of regulation, a playoff decides the winner.

  • The playoff winner is the winner for betting purposes.

The Field

  • "Field" bets include all players not named individually.

  • Match-Ups

Types and Naming

  • Full tournament matchups are listed as PGA, EURO PGA, or LPGA.

  • Round matchups are listed by round number (Round 1, Round 2, etc.).

Player Conditions

  • Players are paired but may not play together.

  • Both players must tee off for bets to count.

Determining Winners

  • If both players tee off, the one with more completed holes wins.

  • If both complete the same holes, the player with the lower score wins.

  • If one player misses the cut, the other wins.

  • If both miss the cut, the lower score after the cut wins.

  • If a player withdraws or is disqualified before completing two rounds or after the cut, the other player wins.

  • If a player is disqualified in rounds 3 or 4 while the other missed the cut, the disqualified player wins.

Ties and Playoffs

  • If players tie, bets push and stakes refunded.

  • Tournament playoffs do not decide match-up bets; tied matchups stay tied.

  • Matchup bets stay active if at least 36 holes are played in shortened/postponed tournaments.

  • Individual round matchups stay active if that round completes despite delays.

3 Balls

  • For the stated round only.

  • All 3 players must tee off for bets to count.

  • If tied, dead heat rules apply.

  • 3 balls bets cannot be part of a parlay.

Groups

  • Groups (e.g., Top American, Top European) are for the entire tournament.

  • Only listed players count.

  • Players must tee off for bets to count.

  • Ties split using dead heat rules.

Dead Heat Rule

  • Applies to bets with 3 or more tied players (3 balls, groups).

  • The stake splits based on the number of tied players:

    • Example: $100 bet at +200 odds, 2 players tie:

    • Half the stake loses (-$50).

    • Half the stake wins and pays at full odds ($50 × +200).

  • For 3 tied players:

    • Two-thirds of stake lost (-$66.66).

    • One-third wins ($33.33 at full odds).

    • This rule does not apply to two-player matchups; ties result in a push.
